    Sophia Madeline Morrison

    LUCY

    Originally from Atlanta, GA, she moved to NYC in 2020 and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is thrilled to be collaborating with some of her favorite people on this and hopes you enjoy the show!

    Kacie Swaffield

    BEST FRIEND

    Kacie Swaffield most recently worked with Molly Stern, Peyton Strong, and Sophia Madeline Morrison in Stern’s play The Cherry Pit as Katy, and is so thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate with them again. Kacie is a graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her stage credits include Masha in Dying For It, Boggett in Phoebe in Winter, Portia in Julius Caesar and the titular character Macbeth. kacieswaffield.com

    Sebastian Kim

    LOVER 1/3/6

    Sebastian Kim is an actor working across theater, film, and television. His credits include Daredevil: Born Again and short films including Slumber Party and Transaction Cancelled, which he also wrote and directed. On stage, he appeared in Love Life at The Tank (IHRAF), as well as the full-length play Skeletons at the New York Theater Festival.

    Rachel Muñoz

    LOVER 0/4

    Rachel Muñoz loves new works, her favorites being: Goblins and Gates (Teatro LATEA); Skeletons (Hudson Guild Theater); and Love Life (The Tank). Rachel has been seen across many cabaret spaces including: 54 Bellow, Green Room 42, and Don’t Tell Mama. She has written and produced her own Jazz Musical: SWEET HEART. She also has done the narration for two children's works, published on Audible. @rrachelmunozz

    Jack Colton Clark is an actor and musician from New York. He recently graduated from Fordham University in 2025 with a BA in theater, and he is excited to be in Who'd Love Lucy for the second time! He'd like to thank Molly for giving him a chance, and his friends and family for supporting his journey and pursuits.

    Molly Stern

    PLAYWRIGHT/PRODUCER

    Molly Stern is a playwright and performer from NYC. She attended NTI, Trinity College, LAMDA, and graduated from Vassar College. Who’d Love Lucy? was produced at The Tank as part of LimeFest in 2024 and as part of Women’s Voices: A Celebration at The Playground Theatre in London in 2026. Other works: A Fateful Cup of Coffee (Spotify), Stranger Stars (Vassar College), The Cherry Pit (The Rat). Upcoming: Daphne (Caveat). @mollyjastern

    Peyton Strong

    CO-DIRECTOR

    Peyton Strong is a director, playwright, and actress based out of Brooklyn. She has had the pleasure of directing Skeletons, The Cherry Pit and Don’t Worry Your Pretty Little Head. She also co-wrote and directed Who Knows What Women Are Doing These Days for The New York Theater Festival alongside Katia Rozenberg.

    Abby Bettencourt

    CO-DIRECTOR

    Abby Bettencourt is a director, playwright, and designer based in Brooklyn. Abby’s directing credits include Vassar College’s Fun Home, Willow Weeping, five step skincare routine, and Constellations, among others. Abby is incredibly excited to be making her NYC directing debut with Who’d Love Lucy?

    Katia Rozenberg

    PRODUCTION DESIGNER

    Katia is an artist, filmmaker, and production designer. She hopes to create work that interrogates what she does not know or understand about her history. For years, she has been photographing dead birds she passes on the street.

    LIGHTING DESIGNER

    Ethan Feil is a New York City based lighting designer from Washington, DC. His designs include Royal Family Productions’ The Language He Called God, Lunchtime Theater, Women on Fire: Fair is Foul, & Upta Camp, Ice Berg Productions’ Orion & The Goatman, Elegies: A Song Cycle, & Tarrytown, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, Joshua Piper’s Cafe Americano, Camille Simone Thomas’s Sweet Blood, The Tank’s Chloe Saves Christmas, Lola Studio’s The Norwegians, Kailey Marshall’s Songs for Slutty Girls, and more! His work has been featured in the Fresh Fruit Festival at Wild Project, NYC Fringe at the Chain, & The New York Theater Festival.

More About Lucy…

Who’d Love Lucy? isn’t like other plays — it’s the story of Lucy, a messy young woman haunted by careless exes, her fear of being honest about what she wants, and a regretful past. The play unfolds inside Lucy’s head, a space of humorous anecdotes and blunt self-examination where deception, of Lucy herself and the audience, has no place. Believing herself beyond repair, Lucy is rescued not by Prince Charming but by a steadfast friend; platonic love breaks her cycle, though she still hopes for romance (and probably needs therapy first). The play skewers modern dating: situationships, hidden desires to avoid vulnerability, and carelessness that begets loneliness. Its lesson is tidy and true — honesty is the best policy, love isn’t a game to play or win, and you can’t hide from your own skeletons forever. Women like Lucy — crazy girls — are rarely trusted as reliable narrators, instead dismissed as overly emotional and dramatic. But Who’d Love Lucy? takes her and the pain she feels seriously, because no one should be made to feel crazy for trying to find love.
